OCTE Reads will be meeting weekly in February for a month of poetry reading! We will read two verse novels as well as saving space and time for reading a variety of poets and poems--some collected by our facilitators and some that we hope our membership will bring to share! Our schedule is below so you have time to locate the verse novels ahead of time!
All meetings will take place on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on zoom!

February 14--curated poems...we'll email links out to all members a week ahead of time!
February 21--discussing verse novel, A Long Time Coming by Ray Anthony Shepard
February 28--curated poems and teaching ideas...we'll email links out to all members a week ahead of time but welcome submissions from members as well!

OCTE READS concluded its exploration of Kim Johnson’s This Is My America with a final ZOOM chat on February 9, 2022.
